Oh, and I have a free version of Unity, I don't think thats the issue but I'm just saying.2023. Not encouraging thing as well : the example file provided with syphon plugin doesn't work as I don't receive any video input in MadMapper (or Syphon enabled app).Īny help, advice or alternative software/plugin is more than welcome. There is a readme file with the package but following these basics instructions doesn't work for me, I might do something wrong though. I'm pretty new to Unity so I would love to have a tutorial or any kind of useful information to instal this plugin (I just copied the files in the relevant folders in my Assets. There is a Unity plug-in available on the Syphon website, however I can't manage to have it working. I already have some experience with Syphon which work like a charm with a great range of softwares from Quartz to Modul8. Its worth downloading and playing with it. It also comes with Resolume alley, which will transcode pretty much anything into their proprietary DXV3 codec, designed for live random playback of clips. It has really powerful output geometry management.

I want to send the output to a projection mapping software (MadMapper) to project the game on the environment. It can do crazy powerful layer and slice routing through virtual screens. I'm developing a little game on Unity using Kinect and the Zigfu plugin.
